The forces of light and the forces of darkness - good and evil - are at war and have been so since the mutiny of Satan when God cast him out of Heaven along with a third of the angels who joined him in his rebellion. Humanity has become entangled in this cosmic war since the fall of Adam and Eve from the grace of God in Eden as recorded in the Bible - Genesis chapter 3. Now we are either on one side or the other. There is no neutrality. Those who are not loyal followers of the Lord Jesus Christ belong to Satan, who along with his wicked angels are constantly and tirelessly engaged in the destruction of humanity and whose ultimate end is destruction. The Bible has spiritual warfare instructions for Christian soldiers on how to overcome the world, their old depraved nature, and the devil by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Then a war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But the dragon was not strong enough, and no longer was any place found in heaven for him and his angels. “For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the flesh. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
